We're incredibly pleased to have reached our £1million target after 12 years of fundraising!
And in 2018 we gifted the funds to the University College London (UCL). It's the largest single donation to Osteosarcoma research in the UK which is a massive achievement for a small family run charity, backed by the wonderful city of Portsmouth!
It's been used to set up the Tom Prince Osteosarcoma Research Project. The groundbreaking scheme is the first ever UK-wide Osteosarcoma research project, and it aims to push the boundaries of our understanding of this rare cancer, to improve the survival rates and treatment of patients.
We've closed the Tom Prince Cancer Trust as we've reached our target, but if you'd still like to support us, you can make a donation direct to the Tom Prince Osteosarcoma Research Project on the UCL website.
Thanks to every single person who helped us get to our target! And thanks for supporting the Tom Prince Osteosarcoma Research Project! You can find out more about the project here and all the great work it's doing.
